Message Alright, so briefly my Z will start with our without the clutch depressed - and will start in gear or neutral, doesn't matter.

This is a Canadian model Z, and it never has had a Clutch Switch aka Neutral Safety Switch. My service manual makes no reference to this switch.

....

What I want to do is install a Neutral Safety Switch. The cars clutch pedal has a space for the switch, and the clutch does currently have a single switch on it, which is wired up to disable cruise control when the clutch is depressed when in cruise.

....

So, I want someone with a US car service manual to help me figure out what the switch part number is, so I can order it. (Even it if from a US Dealer that'd be fine) - and the tricky part is this - I need to know the wiring information. Exactly where do the wires from the clutch switch go? If they go into the ECU or just tap to wires from the ECU, etc. But I need to know which wires and so forth so the ignition signal can be interrupted when the clutch is depressed and the switch is open.

I've searched past threads and they always seem to turn to debates about how the cars switch must be defeated, or broken, etc. Not the case, the car never had one. So, unfortunately I can't find the answer to the part # and wiring information in any past thread.
